Eastern Art Review is an independent review journal moving between New York, Seoul, and the broader circuits of North America and East Asia. We write about exhibitions, artists, and cultural shifts, and we pose the questions that quietly shape them: geography, power, and place.
Art has always belonged to someone. We refuse to accept that as inevitable. In any power game, everyone should be able to play. We pay attention to the hidden architectures behind artistic form: institutions, capital, curatorial authority, language, borders, and the systems of communication that determine what gets seen and what does not.
Eastern Art Review is artist-led and editorially independent, run by creatives across Berlin, Seoul, and New York.
